Thank you so much for joining me for my very first blog post! I am so excited to share my thoughts with you all regarding everything I’ve learned about managing life while in the pursuit of happiness and multiple degrees.
Since my childhood I’ve had a hatred of my terrible memory and a strong need to document my life, thus many journals, websites, and blogs were born. Of all of my endeavors, the longest to survive has been my Tumblr, founded in high school. This blog, however, is my “big girl” attempt.
My graduate program is only a 2-year program, but my learning won’t stop there. I’ve always enjoyed writing and documenting my everyday life, and while I intend to continue doing that, my goal for this blog is to share everything I’ve learned (and will continue to learn) about saving money, building a career, and living a happy, healthy, beautiful life.
I’m a goal-oriented person. I wouldn’t have survived seven years of competitive rowing if I wasn’t, and I certainly wouldn’t still be afloat in graduate school if I wasn’t. I love crossing things off my to-do lists, and I love revisiting my goals on a regular basis to assess my progress. I believe in what they say, that those who write down their goals are much more likely to achieve them, and I believe that setting goals and working your ass off to meet them is really the only way to live.
Thanks for coming along!
